La Trobe Law Students’ Association

PCL COVID-19 Hardship Scholarship for Law Students

About the Scholarship

This scholarship is for those students who are experiencing financial hardship due to Coronavirus. It is for students who are currently studying law and are interested in practicing commercial and litigation law for small to medium sized businesses (SMEs) and individuals.

We are seeking to support students who have an interest in servicing commercial clients and want to cultivate an understanding of the commercial realities that SME client’s may face.

We are passionate about the legal advice we provide to this sector and are looking to support those students who are interested in this area of law and are facing some hardship themselves due to COVID-19.

We require a 250 word response from students as part of the application. It must cover details of your financial hardship, why you desire to work with a commercial law firm and identify the most important approach lawyers should take in providing small to medium sized businesses with legal advice.

More information on our firm can be obtained on our website to help with your application.
